This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. As with any piece of furniture you have to assemble, it is very important to take your time and not be in a hurry. I am very pleasantly surprised with just how good this bed is.. Jeffrey. Love the bed design. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to one bed slat had a crack which was filled with a caulk substance. I was assured by Wayfair it has no impact on the sturdiness of the platform bed. I purchased a 12” deep mattress which is the perfect depth for this bed. My 18 yr old grandson loves his bedroom designed just for him. Would choose this bed again to purchase. Very happy with it.. Lynn. Erlanger, KY. Sun Oct 04 2026

Size Purchased: California King Overall very content with this purchase. I live alone so assembly was a bit difficult but I managed by myself (6'4" dude), but for most buyers I'd imagine it would take two people to handle it. During assembly very important to leave bolts at joints loose so that they can be wiggled into tight fighting place at final stages. Prior to laying down the mattress on top, the smaller composite wood legs in the middle of the frame did not touch flush with the ground. However, with laying down the mattress and lying on it they support the weight and the frame feels sturdy/doesn't wobble. The design is simple and sophisticated, and I will update this review at a later date after using the bed for a year or so. Highly recommend!. Anders. Los Angeles, CA. Thu Jul 09 2026

This is a really cute bed and seems really solid. A couple of things that made me knock a star off the rating though. Each slay has to be screwed in with at least 3 screws so this will be very difficult to move out of this room if ever needed. Also the wood has different colors.. Janice. Atlanta, GA. We were moving, so although this bed came with white glove delivery, we were unable to have them set it up before as it needed to be moved to a new house. Because of that we had to build it ourselves. Unfortunately, a couple pieces of the hardware were not delivered with the bed, including 24 feet of the bed, but it was an easy enough fix to go get them from a hardware store. We ended up needing to replace all 4 feet to ensure that the bed would sit level. Otherwise, very good quality, beautiful design.. Caitlin. Plymouth, MA. Thu Jul 23 2026
