It arrived in 2 weeks after purchase. Well packed and efficiently delivered. No damages. I took off a star because of a few issues 1) the assembly instructions are inconsistent. The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. Gorgeous bed! I absolutely love the tall headboard- it makes such a beautiful statement. The off-white color has a subtle beige woven texture, which makes it feel unique and pairs perfectly with the dark wood frame. The bed comes with three slats and you’ll just need a box spring or an adjustable base. In the photo, I’m using a 9-inch box spring with a 12-inch mattress because I needed a bit of extra height for when my mom visits. Without that added height, the distance from the slats to the dip in the headboard is about 15 inches, which actually makes the headboard appear even taller and more dramatic. It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. It must’ve been the manufacturers problem since I was reading the instructions correctly and the screws just won’t go in. My daughter loves her new big girl bed. It’s great for us to bc I can crawl into bed with her and still have room when she wakes in the middle of the night. We bought it thinking she would start in the trundle part but she insists on the sleeping in the main part. I keep the trundle open in case she falls which hasn’t happened yet.
