The size and modern look is nice but the wood color advertised is way off from what I received. This is more of a dark mocha wood different from the walnut color shown. This is a very good, quality pedestal. It is extremely stable due to its design, build and heavy weight. It has a strong wooden interior structure and is perfectly faced with a very real looking matte formica-type veneer. The edges of the veneer are the same color as the surface and they all meet perfectly wirh no abberations or gaps. I am extremely picky when it comes to art accents having worked in picture framing and in galleries and I am very pleased with the appearance of this pedestal. I bought it to showcase a fine 31 inch tall antique bronze statue and I am 100% satisfied with its proportion and looks. Beautiful tv stand! 65” OLED tv on the stand - It’s more a neutral tone, it doesn’t pull orange or brown. It’s pretty low profile and sleek so it works with a tv on it or mounted above. The instructions and build was somewhat complicated, you have to pay attention to the picture instructions and why way pieces are facing since it doesn’t tell you. The drawers have brackets that come apart (took me awhile to find it) but it’s a plastic piece within the bracket that you can push down and and they come apart. When you get to step 3 - PAUSE and take apart the brackets. You’ll need to anyways for the last step. The stand was packaged very well, it was wrapped in lots of foam. It’s pretty heavy and may take 2 people to carry but assembling can be done solo. Definitely save aside 3-4 hours to assemble as it takes time and plenty of space to make it. Worth every penny! These are sturdy and really clean looking! I love that they come fully built. The color is nice - similar to other reviewers I would note that the color is definitely more distressed in person. The drawers are soft closing which is a nice touch! The pulls take some getting used to because they aren’t deep - it takes some finger strength and dexterity to open them. I’m really happy with this table. It’s a moderate size , not too big, not too small, which makes it perfect for our dining area. It fits comfortably without overwhelming the room, but still feels substantial and well made. The wood tone is warm and beautiful in person, and the unique base design gives it character without being too bold. It feels sturdy and solid, which is important in our home since it gets daily use for meals, crafts, and everything in between.
