Solid desk, feels substantial. Lots of storage. It has a distressed look so the table top is not completely smooth - you'll need to lay down a writing pad to hand write. 24" depth is good for monitor and keyboard. This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. This review is going to be only about what I know about this desk because I have not assembled it yet. It arrived in 2 separate boxes; box A and box B. One of the boxes is over 90lbs! I had a chance to open each box to take a look inside. I ordered the Brown and Black color. I really like the fact it is an L-shaped desk; we are going to use it in a spare bedroom for our small business. I need all of the features this desk offers: 5-tier bookshelf, 2 drawers, 1 file drawer, 59" long desktop with a depth of 21", 2 power outlets and 2 USB outlets. All of these features are perfect for running a small business and will make getting my work done more efficiently. The user manual is 50 pages long - I'm already estimating it will take at least 4 hours to assemble! And according to the manual, 2 people are needed in order to flip certain parts.
