I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. This bed is GORGEOUS in person. I wanted an upholstered bed, and i initially ordered anothe bed from anothe company, but was so disappointed after seeing it in person. This bed is absolutely stunning. It’s so beautiful that I’m now planning to overhaul my entire bedroom just to make the rest of the room live up to it! It is incredibly sturdy, well designed, and definitely a focal piece. I absolutely love it. My one caution is to pay close attention to the color. I was expecting a darker wood, but in person it’s more of a washed brown that can sometimes read slightly gray. Interestingly, it photographs differently depending on the lighting and can look much redder in photos than it actually is. I included a close-up to hopefully give a better sense of the true color. The burl wood pattern also has beautiful variations between light and dark, and since no two beds are exactly alike, yours may vary somewhat as well. Also, this bed is HEAVY. It arrived in three boxes, and I paid for professional assembly through Wayfair, which I’m very glad I did. I would definitely recommend having two people available to lift and assemble it. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. I absolutely love this bed! I was a little nervous ordering something like this online because cream and wood tones can look so different in person, but the colors are honestly perfection. The bouclé is the perfect creamy white. It’s not stark white but it also doesn’t pull yellow or beige. It’s just a really beautiful soft cream that looks so much more expensive in person. The wood was another thing I was really hoping would look like the photos and it does. It has that slightly grayish white oak tone that I love without looking washed out or overly gray. The combination of the cream upholstery and lighter wood is gorgeous. Assembly was also surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear and everything went together without any confusion or issues. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The bed feels substantial and looks very high-end once it’s put together.
