I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. Also because the particle board in the back was a bit warped it was difficult to get the top to line up when assembling the final bolts. It’s definitely a two person job. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. If it’s delivered to your home when you are not there you’ll need a dolly to get it inside. It’s extremely heavy when all packaged together. This is probably the best value for any piece of furniture Ive ever purchased. Less than 400 and this is the focal point of my living room. I think it looks super high end, even in person, and would have paid twice the amount and still been happy. I had a handyman assemble for me so I cant speak to the assembly issues others mentioned but he got it together very quickly. I love the look of it but I’ll tell you it was insane to put together. It took 7 whole hours, but I assembled slowly to make sure I was doing everything correctly. Bought a bigger TV so we needed a new TV stand. This one says for TV’s that are 75”, ours is 85” and fits well with just a little over hang. Instructions were clear and only took about 2 12 hours to assemble. Delivery was also fast! Only took 3 days to be delivered and was delivered with care. Looks great and we’re so excited about it!. Torn on this piece! I do like the real wood (it even smells like real wood) - and upon assembly it looks exactly like the product photo - which was the design that I wanted & preferred over other TV stand units. I did take a 'risk' on a product with no previous reviews, based on the general positive feedback of the vendor. To that point I will say the following: I have built numerous furniture items and do not attribute these complaints to "user error." Some connecting points between pieces were improperly aligned; the legs of the base would come together, but in such a way that there was not enough clearance between the bolt & the wood surface to screw/fit the nut onto the bolt. Additionally, some of the holes were not drilled deep enough to fit the screws into (see bottom screw hole of attached photo - filled in with wood) so the screws had to be forced through the wood. There was one case where the screw hole, fresh out of the box prior to any assembly, had already caused splintering into the exterior wall of the connecting joint (photo also attached).
