This is a really nice chopper. This can do everything and then some. It can even make whipped cream! Cake mix, piece of cake!. The suction cups on the bottom are very, very strong. All I did was put it down and it was hard to move, which, is a good thing. I kept the blades on the bubble wrap for my safety. This looks like metal, the base does, but it is plastic and I think this is a plus.. It will not tip over, and I really love the different discs.
