The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable. Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. Very nicely packaged and shipped, and easy to put together. Allows flexibility for left or right facing options. The cushions ship vacuum packed and need 48 hours to fluff. It’s super easy to put the feet on by hand, and having a rubber mallet to connect the couch connectors together is very helpful. Seems to be decent quality material and cushioning. The brown color is more like a sand color and blends really nicely with our light gray walls, giving the room a more warm feeling than our previous black pleather sectional. We usually don’t allow our dogs on the furniture and our kids are all grown, but we shall see how it holds up with our grandkids over the years! The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable.
