Overall the crate is very nice, putting it together took quite a few hours but it came together. I took a star away because it’s kinda hard to open the front doors without putting your whole arm through the crate bars to unlatch the bottom & top. Also one side of the front crate door hinges didnt properly go in all the way so the doors are a little uneven. Heavy duty dog crate frame composed of widened metal bars, much stronger than wire bars, both for strength and aesthetics, not easily deformed.

I have an anxious puppy who doesnt like to be away from his people any amount of time. We had an wire crate before and he really hated it. He actually was able to break a piece of wire from it and free himself. This crate however is extra sturdy and although he may bite and scratch, theres nothing more than light scratches on the metal. We leave it open and he will go in on his own a nap, something he wouldnt do with the other kennel. I believe the wood top makes him feel secure. Were very happy with this purchase.. Chef. NC. Difficult to put together. I had to recruit a family member with more experience to put it together. And they even had difficulty. But once they got it together its been a great crate for my dog.
