Came in two heavy boxes - hard to move like dead weight. I thought it was going to be a standard sofa. I was surprised to see it has a very heavy metal frame that the cushions fit over . I didn’t realize that the frame screws into the bottom cushions- it does have holes where the screws go. I literally had to take pieces apart to put the bottom and get it attached. I was wrestling with it to get it together. Directions not very clear . Color is true to picture. It is soft and comfy . It is heavy and has a contraption on bottom to connect both pieces but I couldn’t get it together. It’s not going to slide apart it too heavy to move . It does have some rough bottom areas that are just metal and not covered. Mine is on carpet I would be concerned if it was to sit on tile or wood . Overall not what I was expecting- I would put it in basement or spare area not as main furniture. Debra. Mundelein, IL. Fri Oct 23 2026

You could forgive me for being somewhat skeptical that a loveseat shipped in pieces would assemble into something substantial, but we feel like we got more than our money’s worth. Came in three separate boxes and assembled in about 15-20 minutes, if that. It’s definitely the product we saw on the site and it’s done an amazing job in changing the look of our dining room. This is the first large item I’ve purchased from Wayfair and I definitely feel more comfortable parting with my cash for items in the future if my word means anything I’d suggest you’re given the go to give them your business.. The removable cushion covers allow for easy cleaning, and the side storage pocket keeps your essentials within reach. Shipped in one compact box with simple assembly instructions, this loveseat is both practical and inviting—an ideal choice for modern living.

Well once again, the box containing my item was very damaged upon arrival. It had holes in it and tears….it looked like it had been opened and taped back up. Part of what turned out to be the arm piece was even exposed through one of the holes. I didn’t want to open it and deal with another damaged piece of furniture from Wayfair. However, I did open it and all the pieces inside were not damaged. The part that was exposed sits at the bottom and is not noticeable when assembled. Now, the review….the George Chenille sofa is exactly what we were looking for. A small loveseat that doesn’t take up too much space. It was easy to put together and took me about 1 hour or so. The instructions were easy to follow. It looks like the pictures except there are still a few wrinkles in the back cushioned piece. It may need to expand a bit more or be steamed to get the few wrinkles out. It feels sturdy and is fairly comfortable for a small loveseat. The price was fantastic on sale and it’s worth the cost. I ordered the gray color. I did switch out the plastic legs for 6” black wood legs that I had on hand. The black legs look much better with the gray fabric. The side pillows are not really fluffy at all and I’ll probably replace them. The small loveseat provides additional seating in our living room without being too bulky. Perfect!. Anonymous. The settee looks great in my feminine palates room! I put it together myself and it took about an hour. It came with all the tools and parts. Not too difficult and the instructions were good.
