June 9, 2026 update: it's absolutely not leather but it is wearing fine. I took the made-to-be-removed inserts out, threw it in the bathtub with laundry soap and washed the soft inside fabric and it took vigorous scrubbing very well. Still recommend this seat. This is so much nicer than I expected! The travel system is really sleek looking in person and I love that there are so many configurations (three levels for seat/carrier and then part for toddler to sit or stand on the back). No issues folding or attaching and removing the different seats quickly. The best part is that the toddler seat converts into a bassinet! I was so surprised to find that feature as I really wanted a bassinet after visiting my cousin in London, but didn’t want to get a system where I had to pay for something separately. I love this! I had it on my baby registry and got it before my baby was born. He’s almost 5 months and 22lbs and has fit in it great since he was born (7.5lbs). so far so good. i've had it a little over a year for my toddler. did my research before purchasing it. the canopy is what sold me even though the carseat isn't as light as some but for it's price and quality it has worked well thus far. i got a neutral color that would go well for both boy/girl. however i did mess it up by taking off the cover of the headrest to wash it in which i don't believe it was supposed to be removed in the first place. but overall so far so good. wish the website had parts to sale to replace them rather than having to buy a whole new one. my shade did come loose after a few adjusting because it was hard to even adjust them up/down when first installing..
