The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

We bought a full set plus extra teaspoons and tablespoons; but over the course of time pieces are missing. A spoon here, a spoon there. Was suggested by my primary doctor to get a weighted set because of my slight tremor in my hands. With this flatware and a small dose of medication things are doing well.
