So far I love these fans. Ordered them together (2) so they would match rooms that are next to each other. The light is bright enough for large rooms, but can be dimmed, It has 6 speeds which is more than my last fans (only had 3), sturdy, so much lighter than my old ones and easy to put together (per hubby). The real wood blades are nice and very light weight. The wind speed works well for our living room and kitchen. Remote is easy to use and I like that there is a timer on the fan also of 1, 4 and 8 hours. There are 3 light settings so you can choose soft, day, and very bright (the bluish type) to fit your room needs. We like the soft one for the living room and the medium one for the kitchen. The wood blades are so beautiful. The wood tone matches my beams pretty well which was a nice surprise. The fan is well crafted and I'm so pleased that it has a light. The light portion and the fan blades were very easy to install. The instructions are clear and it comes with extra hardware which is always so helpful. My favorite things about it are the fact that the wood grain sort of lines up on the fan blades and the hardware is really nice even though it's not showing. This is a beautiful fan! To me, it has a clean classic look but with a modern spin on it. The remote control works well and is straightforward and easy to use. This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. This is a beautiful fan. I love the way it looks over our kitchen table. The only thing you should know is it doesn't put out enough light because it is stained glass. I was going to increase the watts of the bulbs but they are a weird type. Plus to do that in the top portion above the fan you would have to take the whole thing apart.
