We could not be more excited about this purchase. It arrived quickly, requiring a signature for delivery. I particularly like that this machine is fully automatic (this feature was important to my husband) and also allows the user to customize settings such as temperature (I like my coffee VERY hot) and strength. I feel completely spoiled! :). Julie. Elk Rapids, MI. Sun Sep 13 2026

I find this portafilter to be particularly useful for testing extractions on La Specialista machines. I have the touch model, and it works perfectly. I also noticed that the coffee basket is a perfect cylinder, which makes it work better with coffee screens since they are easier to remove after extraction.. Adrian. Thu Jan 08 2026

Smart alerts for low beans/water, a sealed bean hopper, and one-click removable brew unit ensure freshness and easy cleaning. The 4-cup espresso and cappuccino machine uses a steam/boiler to quickly heat water until steam is produced. The steam creates pressure to force the water into the filter holder and through the coffee grounds to brew the espresso directly into the glass carafe. When the espresso has reached the bottom line marking on the glass carafe, you can stop the brewing and switch to frothing milk. When you finish frothing, turn the selector switch back to the coffee brewing position. The powerful steam/boiler reduces warm-up time to less than 2 minutes, producing 2 to 4 cappuccinos or lattes in less than 5 minutes.

The last cappuccino espresso I bought from Wayfair was much sturdier. It had some stainless steel in but the new one is smaller and almost all plastic. However, after just 2 uses, it seems to work ok so far.. Adele. Washington, PA. Fri May 29 2026
