This really is a beautiful rug, it does say that it’s washable but the size I got is way too large so I will not be able to wash it in a standard machine. It does have more white in it than I expected so if you have young children or pets, you may wanna put it somewhere where it’s off-limits to them. I put mine in the guest room, which is not used on a frequent basis and the door is shut, so the animals cannot get in the color combination is extremely appealing. The rug is beautiful and I followed the directions to get it to lay flat after arriving rolled. The only problem and complaint I have is that the rug pad to go with it is a little bit wider by almost 2 inches and the length is off by maybe 1/2 an inch.
