Very well wrapped, almost too much, making it a bit of a pita to get them all out of the box to inspect. I have no idea what one will do with all of the cloth bags that came with the set. Only time will tell how durable these pans really are. Aesthetically they are really nice to look at. The glass lids are on the lighter side. I am concerned about how the gold trim will wear or tarnish overtime, even if hand washing, but more importantly from wear in a dishwasher. Very thick! Well made it looks like but i havent gotten a chance to use it yet. The 2 smaller ones has a little bit of a yellow hue, not sure if this is normal but its not a stain. They are WONDERFUL! Despite my husband NOT listening to me and used a metal whisk on one of them (picture included) besides that, they are heavy duty, the silicone bottom is very helpful with not sliding around on the counter. I HIGHLY recommend silicone, nylon or wood utensils because they WONT scratch up the bowls. And if you really like the shiny finish, please DO NOT put in dishwasher.
