This looks amazing in my small space. It is perfect for a small header since it only requires 8 above the rails. Make sure there is a good solid beam where you want to install it so that it can support the doors properly.. Jennifer. Bartlett, TN. Mon Aug 21 2023

The package includes all the hardware kit you need to install a sliding barn door. Except for doors. The barn door hardware can be used both inside and outside. It is rust proof, water proof and fire proof. The standard door thickness for our hardware is from 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''. If your door thickness is not within that range, please go to our second tab called "Customization Services" for more detailed instructions on how to customize for it. The spacing between each hole is American standard 16''. Tracks 8ft and under are one single track instead of being connected by multiple shorter tracks. racks 9ft to 16ft will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18ft and 20ft will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''. Each complete track can hold door weight up to 220 lbs. Usually we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the opening. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide. You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have an opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least 96'' long track. The minimum clearance (from top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.

This hardware kit is heavy and very durable. They definitely made it with quality materials. The wheels are not metal and they are black. I thought they were nickel plated like the rest of it. I ended up painting the wheels to match and they look great.. John. Richmond Hill, GA. Thu Feb 22 2024

I ordered this hardware kit because the barn door I had for my bathroom renovation came with black hardware which did not match my other brushed nickel hardware. I love how the door came out with this kit. And also appreciate that the bracket is on top of the door, I think I looks more modern and cleaner. The quality is quite good, solid and the finish is beautiful. Overall this is an excellent quality material!. Wendy. Boca Raton, FL. Tue Feb 11 2025

The most premium carbon steel was picked to make the hardware heavy-duty and sturdier than the competition. The powdered coating makes the paint stay forever and scratch-resistant. The wheels of the roller are made of high-quality nylon which ensures minimal noise when it glides on the track. Each complete track can hold a door weight of up to 200 lbs.

Good for the money, but... the bottom guide for the door is cheap plastic, so had to purchase a steel set separately. The door stops take up a lot of space on the track and somewhat limit how far you can open the doors. Instructions were also limited, but in all would recommend purchasing.. Roderick. Lincoln, NE. Really beautiful and sturdy. This is serious hardware. I bought the doors separately and really love how this track looks with them. It’s a beast, but it’s perfect.. Daniel. Chicago. Il. Sun Sep 13 2026

Specific bolts are required for concrete walls. The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden walls or drywall. Thinner or thicker doors require the correct length of the hex bolts. Thicker doors also require spacer extensions which will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If there is a door trim a thick header board will be needed for the hardware to be attached. There needs to be a clearance between the top of the door to the ceiling for the single track bypass hardware kit.
