I like this drafting chair. Perfect for this desk that is a little high. I love how the parts were labeled. Overall, it was very easy to put together, but I was not able to put the footrest on without the base being unstable. That is why I removed a star. If I could correctnthis it woukd be 5 stars.. Damarys. Winter Park, FL. Sat Oct 24 2026

well the first thing that comes to mind is the speed of shipping that came very fast. the chair itself is awesome. I just could not find a comfortable counter height chair for my counter height kitchen table so I was thinking out of the box. I assembled it in probably a half hour to 40 minutes without any problems. I especially like the longer handle allen wrench with the bar at the end of it that made screwing in the screws a lot easier than a little finger allen wrench that you usually get with stuff. all the parts were there all the screws lined up without difficulty. chair is basic with nice coloring and ample padding on chair seat and arms. I am able to reach around while sitting to adjust the lumbar support. this chair has a rocking mechanism which I was not aware of but I havent dialed that in just yet but there is a knob to adjust the rocking mechanism. the height adjustment is pretty straightforward you have to not be sitting on the seat to raise it up. the seat is wide enough so I can sit with one leg under in a cross leg position and that was a big plus for me. the armrests lift up fully out of the way. I have lvp vinyl in the kitchen so these caster wheels slide across very easily. the foot rest is also what I had to consider and this one is perfect. all in all this is a perfect chair for my counter height kitchen table and it supports my wide load without difficulty.. Just got this the other day and haven't officially "used" it yet, but sat in it a couple of times. It seems like a well built chair but time will tell. UPDATE 9/12/26 It took me awhile to figure out what I didn't like about this chair. It is a well made chair, but it's too short! I am 5'7" and sitting back in the seat and my legs extended, my feet stick past the bottom tube about 5-6" and it's just not a comfortable fit for me.. Richard. FL. Sat Sep 12 2026

Love this chair! I wanted a solid chair where I could sit upright but extend my legs. Other chairs extend legs but on a 45 degree angle. This is solid and the construction is great. Legs are supported and straight out. The footrest sides not sunk when legs are on them. That said, this is a heavy chair so we are not going to bring this to concerts or picnics unless someone is going to commit to bringing it and carrying it. We will keep this at our seasonal campsite for the fire ring. It also reclines back. Armrests are wide and comfortable. The foot rest tucks underneath when you don’t want to use it. Love it!. Lynn. Crafted from premium solid wood, this adjustable high chair grows with your child, offering long-lasting use from toddlerhood through the teen years. It features a sturdy anti-tipping frame, gravity-locking wheels for easy yet safe mobility, a supportive padded seat with a wipe-clean microfiber leather surface. The adjustable seat and footrest adapt to your child’s height, making it perfect for dining, studying, and playtime. Designed for safety, comfort, and versatility, this chair blends timeless style with practical features for everyday family use.

This children’s high chair is really much closer to a 3 for me in rating, but I went with the 4 because, in general, it is a very beautiful chair that will be functional once our little guy can use it. The pros: the rubber wood is just LOVELY. I love the grain, the color, the sturdiness, and the very nice grey faux leather seat. It’s a unique shape, so not sure yet that I love that, but again, very functional for its intended use. The chair was a breeze to assemble with an easy to follow step by step guide. The instructions call for 2 people, but I assembled the chair on my own in a reasonable amount of time with zero problems. The result, a VERY beautiful chair. The cons: as mentioned, the instructions do call for 2 people for assembly. If you have any experience at all with home assembly, 2 people truly are not necessary. One thing that really stood out to me is that the product specifications say that the weight capacity is 300 (as in 3 hundred) lbs. I cannot imagine a 300 lb person sitting on a child’s chair; but I wouldn’t want a grown, average sized man sitting on this chair. Perhaps it really would withstand that weight limit, but it just does not seem possible. The other drawback is the trouble you must go through to adjust the seat and the foot rest as our little one grows. It just seems there could be a much easier solution than having to search out your tools, unscrew, adjust, and re-screw until next time. In price checking, I found pricing quite varied for very similar styles. Current sale pricing for this one is around $140. That isn’t awful for the beauty, craftsmanship, and the quality of this unique chair, but if another at the same price was a “one and done” assembly, I might lean in that direction. Depending on if that one was as lovely as this one!. Presley. Canton, OH. Sun Jun 28 2026
