This is a great headboard. It is heavy and I was glad I had paid for inside delivery. Only thing prevent a 5 rating is the size description is incorrect. I bought the King and fortunately it does work with a King size mattress but the dimensions posted online for a king do not match the size of item I received. My order and packing slip do confirm it is a King. I checked the dimensions against the other sizes on Wayfair and what I received don't match any of them. Hickory is an excellent choice for furniture due to its innate strength, density, and character. We source our hickory from the American southeast where it is harvested in late fall and through mid-winter when its moisture content is low. From here it is kiln-dried to further remove moisture and the bark tightens around the logs during the process providing a truly beautiful texture, and a time-tested look and durability.
