Great umbrella. Just what we’d been looking for to bring shade to a sitting area that faces the northwest…works out perfectly. My husband assembled by himself and he said it was easy…just took a little time. The only thing he didn’t like was the base that came with it. Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. The umbrella itself is wonderful. It is beautiful and covers a large area and just looks luxurious. It opens abd closes with ease. The 360 degree turning is also easy and a great feature. Ok - I was so nervous making this purchase and studied every single umbrella - then a few days before the 4th I bit the bullet and ordered it! This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock .
