Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. The umbrella itself is wonderful. It is beautiful and covers a large area and just looks luxurious. It opens abd closes with ease. The 360 degree turning is also easy and a great feature. This double umbrella is huge!!! It took up my large lanai , and provides some really good shade. Really heavy and good quality. But you must have some sandbags to put on the base so it has stability. The umbrella looks great. However, it leaks when it rains. So, the cushions on the chairs under the umbrella get dripped on. I assume the seams of the umbrella are defective. Our old wooden market umbrella was recovered several times with Sunbrella fabric. Even after many years, the latest Sunbrella fabric did not leak. I now regret giving it away.
