The Spitfire Close to Ceiling Kit replaces your hanger bracket/downrod assembly, allowing the creation of more head room but moving your fan closer to the ceiling. Both tall and short kits are included with a vast list of finish options available. The close to ceiling kit is available in several damp rated options giving you the flexibility of installation indoors or out.

This wall-mounted control is compatible with most Fanimation ceiling fans. Utilizes a slider to control three fan speeds, allowing you to simply control the output of your ceiling fan.

My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches. These were nicer than expected. Much thicker than my original blades, which was part of a expensive ceiling fan I purchased when we built our house in 1997, which matched the original wood floors.
