We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. These downrods by Fanimation are available in multiple finishes and lengths and will fit many installation needs. Recommended downrod length is based on ceiling height, with an ideal distance from floor to fan blades being 7 to 9 feet.
