Gorgeous table. This is the 79 inch length in natural wood. The table top is one solid piece so there are no lines or seams visible. It comfortably holds 4 small chairs but can seat up to 6. (Note It depends on the type of chairs you pair with the table. The bulkier they are the less likely you can fit more than 4.)You can sit at the end of the table which was a concern as a lot double pedestal designs don’t leave enough space. (image attached of our chair at the end). The legs of the table arrived slightly damaged but we are not sure if it was during wayfair’s assembly or from the manufacturer. This extendable dining table serves as a functional center point for your dining room or eat-in kitchen. Its stone surface is crafted from a blend of slate and marble, offering a smooth finish that stands up to scratches from daily use. A butterfly leaf mechanism allows you to easily expand the surface to accommodate larger gatherings or family meals. It also features a two-leaf design that seats up to eight people when fully extended.

Very happy with the table. We wanted an extendable table that held the "leaves" within the table and was round when extended. The "racetrack" shape when the "butterfly wing/leaves" are retracted is cooler than a typical rectangle or oval. I also wanted a near white (but with some contrasting details) stone-like top which is very hard to find in an extendable table. The base appears to be slightly lighter brown in color in person than online, but I prefer that. Ignore the chairs in the pictures; we haven't picked out chairs for the new table yet. The extension mechanism (see photo) works very smoothly, and you can do with one hand and little strength. You can have neither extended, only 1 extended, or both extended which works well for our needs (kid comes home from college, etc). There's a tiny bit of uneven-ness in the height at one end of the leaves when extended, but probably only 2 mm (and maybe fixable if we tried.) Delivery was on time with excellent communication via texts and call and with updates for a narrower delivery window provided. They brought it in and assembled it for us. Happy with the purchase. Other places on-line had similar tables but not the exact same one. In particular, the stone top having the grey details seemed harder to find. The base of this table seems very sturdy yet is not wide enough to get in the way of anyone's legs and we have tall teenage boys. We have not had problems with our legs hitting the "leaves" when they are not extended. It looks and feels like something that cost this much or more. Recommend.. Jennifer. Glen Allen, VA. Table is as pictured and is quite heavy- I'd recommend getting professionals to carry it if you're getting this placed somewhere other than the main floor. It ships in two boxes with the heaviest being 90lbs (and the box is also quite large and has no handles so it can be difficult to handle yourself). That being said, it seems really solid and the design is great. As others have mentioned, the grain is really beautiful and much more visible than other black furniture I've purchased. However, it's a bit taller than other furniture I've got - measured at 31.5" tall, but the table did come with levellers on the bottom which might get rid of half an inch if I take them off and replace with furniture pads. No where in the listing does it say “faux printed stone pattern” it really cheapens the whole look. The top is stone but has a printed veneer on it.
