For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. They’re great if you have a tendency to stub your toes on furniture. The drawers are nice and I love that they’re on rollers. You can roll them out of the way and have extra hidden storage under the head and foot of the bed. They fit in the side panels nice and flush with the overhanging supports on the back of the panels designed to stop the drawer from rolling under the bed. The nightstands feel nice and secure. I typically have a heavy book in the drawer, a full 40oz hydro flask, and my phone charging on one nightstand and it doesn’t seem to stress it at all. The assembly was straightforward and simple.
