This took my husband about 45min to install and we absolutely love it! It gives off modern country vibes. It is more of a white color with almost the slightest brown undertone built within. The black cord that it hangs from is exactly that- a black cord. It doesn’t bother me much but I thought it was going to be a solid rod vs cord. It was indeed not a black solid rod. I gave my genuine George Nelson crossover bubble light away (to my sis) without realizing how expensive it was to replace. Oops! But this light is a great budget “knockoff”. Looks very close to the genuine article. The only nitpick - the seam that joins the fabric is not smooth but I doubt anyone will be able to tell once it’s mounted from the ceiling. Really pleased!.
