Assembly was surprisingly fast and straightforward. Following the manual, I was able to put the entire desk together in under an hour. The instructions are clear, but one quick tip for anyone assembling make sure to pay close attention to the orientation of the main tabletop to distinguish the front from the back before attaching the frame—it will make the rest of the build even smoother. Looks great and functional. Only negatives I would say are the two bases/cabinets are not fully functional. The metal legs/posts go right through it in the middle so you only get about half of the cabinet to use, unless you throw small stuff in the back. The bottom of the beams/legs are also not secured to the cabinets so when you set this up, make sure to position it exactly where you want to. I’m very happy with this desk! I’m a fairly tall lady (5’10”) and it gets more than tall enough for me to use while standing. Setup took around 3 hours with 2 people (granted we’re not very building savvy) and instructions were fairly cleareasy to follow. When it came to the “use a box for support” part of the manual, we just used throw pillows and it worked fine. Everything was packaged very thoughtfully and the quality of the desk feels very sturdy. I Highly recommend this desk. This is exactly what I expected. It was easy to put together. Total build time was about 20 - 30 minutes for 1 person. High quality materials. all hardware was provided. The height adjustment works beautifully and quietly, and programing the memory buttons was simple. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the edge of the desk is a hard 90 degrees rather than a beveled edge.
