I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The platform bed arrived very quickly. The package was very heavy and needed two people to carry it. When opening, I found that everything was very well packaged protected, and labeled. The instructions made sense and the assembly was straightforward with only a few tools required. What I liked was that all of the pieces were legitimate wood, and not plywood, laminate, or plastic. The bed sits approx 9 off the ground and includes 12 Separate wood slats which serve as the support for the mattress. Its nice not needing the box spring, although one should be prepared for a lower overall bed. Ot works for us perfectly and it very sturdy. I really like the bed frame. I specifically wanted a metal bed frame that would accommodate a mattress and box springs. Most metal bed frames are platform these days so the selection is rather sparse if you want to use a mattress and box springs. I just finished assembling it and it appears to be very sturdy for a metal frame. Assembly was very easy. Instructions were well written and all parts were included. The bed frame was packaged well and arrived with no damage. There were no defects in the frame. My only disappointment is in the color of the frame. The color was listed as bronze in the description but it is so very dark it looks more black than bronze. I decided to keep it as it would be such a hassle to return.
