What a great bench. First, it's pretty easy to put together. I broke my finger and my whole hand is in a cast and I was still able to do it. There are some bolts and holes that are tricky to line up, but that's pretty common. The build quality is excellent. It's very sturdy and heavy duty. One par of screw holes would not line up, no matter what, and I had to re- drill one of the holes. I had to hit the frame with a hammer to get a few of the others to line up. Although this is a very labor-intensive piece to make, the tops are completely handmade using reclaimed wood from antique doors. The legs are hand-distressed in antiqued colors. Each one is unique and will vary slightly. We have this reclaimed top old door bench in three distressed colors. The color refers only to the color of the legs.
