I don’t have a picture showing the bookcase side headboard, but it’s very nice. The base has so much storage and the whole thing is sturdy. This is my daughter’s tiny college bedroom so storage was important! It took a Wayfair professional assembler over 4 hours to put it together, and she did a fantastic job. The only complaint is FedEx which lostmisplaced all my orders and they were awful about accountability. I went to the service center and after 2 hours of searching, we found my orders and they put them in my car. It was in 2 boxes and weighed a ton. Our queen mattress fits the frame and doesn’t protrude over the edge and there’s low risk for stubbing your toes or banging your knees on the frame. The drawers are not on a track, just loose on wheels and they attach to the frame by Velcro. The inside of the drawers are plastic which I prefer to the wire baskets that I’ve seen some other storage beds have. My husband did not encounter any complications assembling it. Great quality and very sturdy bed! We have an 11.5-inch mattress, and the lift-up mechanism works really well. It is smooth and surprisingly easy to lift, even with the mattress on it. The headboard feels solid and well made. I especially love the white oak color—it looks beautiful and matches our tongue-and-groove wood ceiling perfectly. My 19-year-old son assembled the entire bed by himself. He said the assembly wasn’t particularly easy, but he was able to complete it without any help. We purchased another bed from Wayfair around the same time, and the difference in quality is significant. This bed is definitely much better quality and feels like it will last.
