This has been a fabulous addition to our kitchen. Assembly was long, but straightforward. We did have an issue with the handle on the trash tilt-out thing. This is a nice piece and looks like the picture. However, be warned, this is a very complicated DIY assembly. I have lots of experience in that area and generally enjoy assembly and this took me 4-5 hours to assemble. This Kitchen Island is amazing! I bought this for my son as a gift for his first apartment. His kitchen has no counter space, so this Island is perfect for his needs. The drawers are nice and deep; you can store a lot of stuff in them. The cabinets have extra storage on the inside of the doors which can be used as a pantry. Again, they are deep enough for full size bottles, cans, etc. The cabinet doors themselves have an easy close feature, you just touch them lightly and they close softly automatically. At the far end of the Island there are three more shelves for additional storage. The shelves are deep enough for full size items. On the top left there is a power station consisting of two outlets and two USB ports. This company thought of everything. My unit arrived quickly and the UPS driver deposited it in front of my garage. No problem, but the box weighed 132lbs. Now I am not a handy person, but I can read directions. The instruction booklet is 50 pages long with 63 steps. I have to give credit to the manufacturer; the instructions were precise and easy to follow.
