Minus 1 star because its a few inches smaller than 8x10. Feels thick under foot. Low points are 14 high, high wool balls are 1. You dont feel the lows though because of how tightly woven the rug is. Comfortable enough for sitting but I plan on getting a rug pad to make it thickersofter. Its very heavy, so it doesnt slide around much on its own unless you have pets running into it. Colors go from a deep red to a light pink with dusty rose colored jutetwine woven between them. Not soft to the touch, More rough just imagine youre petting rows of felted wool and twine and thats exactly what this feels like. This rug will be hard to clean because of the materials its made up of.. Amanda. Auburn, WA. Sat Sep 12 2026

More than anything else, area rugs are art for your floors: They create the mood of your decor, guide the layout of your furniture, and establish a color scheme to follow (or rebel against). A new rug can, and will, dramatically change a room – the fun part is picking the one you love! This one for example: is handwoven in a geometric pattern in a beige and yellow color palette. It is crafted from jute and cotton. To clean this piece, we recommend professional cleaning when needed.

Very different than online photos! I wish the online photo accurately matched the rug I received.. Lori. Marvin, NC. Mon Sep 21 2026

Like sun-baked ruins along the Mediterranean, the Sandstone Taupe rug exudes relaxed sophistication. A mellow taupe field sets the stage for watercolor washes of coral, aqua, and lavender—tones that feel both nostalgic and now. Painstakingly hand-knotted from hand-spun wool-viscose yarns, the rug marries centuries-old craftsmanship with a light-infused palette, promising to age as gracefully as the artifacts that inspired it.

Good quality construction. Very nice, soft colors, though the background taupe is somewhat darker than expected and there is more yellow/gold than expected, creating a warmer overall look. The weaving pattern has faded horizontal striping, similar to the very inexpensive rugs that are everywhere today, which makes it overpriced in my opinion. The dimensions are also off, not a lot, but enough that it doesn't work well in my space (9'1"x 11'9") but that length also includes a total of 3" of fringe which makes it too short for my room. It's hard enough to risk buying rugs online, but it's very frustrating when ACTUAL dimensions are not provided.. Patricia. Jacksonville, FL. Fri Jun 19 2026

This area rug grounds your floor with low-profile texture and an abstract motif that brings casual energy to your space. Handmade from wool, it features a flatweave construction that offers a cozy feel underfoot while standing up to high-traffic movement. The reversible surface helps extend its life over time, while fade-resistant fibers preserve the vibrant design. Plus, the lightweight, low-profile form makes it easy to integrate under clearance furniture. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

I LOVE this rug. It’s so thick!!. Anonymous. Wed Sep 09 2026

Very soft shag. Subtle color throughout. Happy with this purchase.. Loren. San Francisco, CA. Thu Oct 16 2025

This transitional area rug anchors your home with a classic medallion motif, instantly grounding your layout. The detailed pattern provides a layered look that introduces depth to a seating arrangement or dining setup. Because it features multiple size options, you can easily find the right fit to scale with your floor plan. This piece offers a flat profile that allows foot traffic to pass smoothly while maintaining a tailored presence. Plus, we love how the medium-pile height makes it easy to maintain with regular vacuuming. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Love this! Could not be happier. Will wear well.. Linda. Monroe, LA. Sat Sep 05 2026

We love this area rug for its striking globally-inspired design and versatile, durable construction. This reversible rug is handmade in India using a flatweave technique from 100% wool. Its subtle and understated two-tone color palette features a faded gray backdrop with textured cream geometric details throughout that are designed to draw the eye. Plus, this rug comes in an array of size options, so it's easy to find the right fit for you. To help reduce shifting and sliding, we recommend adding a rug pad underneath (sold separately).

Fits the room wonderfully (we did center it later on). Does not hold dog hair. Isn’t too weird to vacuum. Super happy with this purchase. Got the foam pad for underneath as well.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 23 2026

Another beautiful rug from Wayfair! We originally picked this out for our dinning room and then realized it wasn’t the right material. I loved it so much. I found a new home for it in my office.. Kristin. Minnetonka, MN. Fri Sep 18 2026

For a luxurious feel and just a bit of whimsy, look no further than our rug. Made with 100% natural wool, these rugs provide a soft, squishy surface that you’ll love to step on as soon as you get out of bed each morning or beg you to kick your shoes off when you’re lounging around in the living room. This exudes a sense of peace and relaxation and a playful multicolor version that instantly brightens any room it's in, The rug is an attractive showpiece for any style. The pileless wool construction makes these rugs easy to clean despite their plush feel. Perfect for medium-traffic areas where comfort is a priority like the living room or bedroom.

As others have said, the colors in the photos are very misrepresentative - they are much more dull and grey. That said, the rug feels great underfoot and everyone in my house has spent time standing on it. There's no way a door would be able to pass over it and I feel like it would make a table or other furniture feel off balance, so would recommend more for a runner or area rug that sits in the middle of a room.. Sarah. Baltimore, MD. Thu Sep 24 2026

This area rug features a Moroccan-inspired pattern and a high-pile silhouette that brings a plush, lodge-style look to your space. It's power-loomed from polypropylene, providing a resilient and stain-resistant surface that stands up to everyday use in high-traffic areas. The design showcases wide stripes with subtle geometric motifs in earthy tones of orange, yellow, and grey for a textured effect. A tied tassel fringe along the edges adds a playful finish to the structured profile. Its generous pile height offers a soft, cushioned feel underfoot, making it an ideal anchor for your living room or bedroom.

The most beautiful rug I’ve ever seen! Truly exceeded all my expectations. Has a lovely texture, plush to the point of luxuriousness. So happy with this purchase!. Rachel. Astoria, NY. Sat Sep 26 2026

Love this color it’s not too orange and not too red. Very thick, no rug pad is needed. The cream color is more a natural yellow cream, almost like rope coloring.. Shannon. Littleton, CO. Thu Aug 20 2026
