I like the heaviness of this mortar and pestle. I use it a lot. I am using it for smashing garlic, grinding cumin and other spices and herbs. I am learning other uses for this too. It is a good size. This is a great product. I use it to make ginger, garlic, and chili paste, and it does a fantastic job of getting the texture just right.
