I’ve owned a Breville espresso machine before, and I can honestly say this one feels much more hands-on and luxurious. From the materials to the buttons and overall design, it feels very high quality. As a former barista at Starbucks and local bakeries, I love being hands-on and having the ability to dial in my espresso exactly how I want it without it feeling like too much work. De’Longhi’s customer support has also been incredibly helpful—if you ever have an issue or are missing a piece that wasn’t included with your set, they’ll make it right at no additional cost.
