While this is a simple and overall easy and light fan to install, it does have the negative of being a cheap plastic with a wood pattern. This ceiling fan is surprisingly lightweight compared to others I’ve installed in the past. While the blades are plastic, they have a high-quality wood look finish that looks great once mounted up. It does a fantastic job keeping the space cool for the kids in their gaming area.
