It is a perfect fit for our entry lighting. Very pleased. Bobbie. Arlington, WA. Fri May 01 2026

Originally made to encase the light of a flickering flame, lanterns were first designed for function, not fashion. Today, they incorporate both. Take this one for example: suspended by a chain, this piece is crafted from metal and showcases a cylindrical silhouette, putting a contemporary twist on a traditional silhouette. A wavy glass shade diffuses light from any compatible bulb up to 100W, while a damp location rating makes it ideal for your enclosed patio ensemble.

The Syndal 3-Light Outdoor Hanging Lantern completely transformed our outdoor space. The design has the perfect balance of modern farmhouse style with a timeless look that feels both elegant and welcoming. The quality is even better than expected — sturdy, well-made, and substantial without looking bulky. One of the things I love most is how beautiful the lighting looks in the evening. It gives off the perfect warm glow and really elevates the entire patio area. It instantly made the space feel more finished and high-end. Installation was straightforward, and the fixture looks much more expensive than it actually is. The size and scale were perfect for our covered outdoor area, and it coordinates beautifully with other black outdoor accents and wood tones.
