The Karman line is where the earth’s atmosphere meets space, weightlessness becomes possible, and going beyond becomes a reality. That spirit and feeling are captured in Steelcase Karman, beyond comfort. Steelcase Karman goes beyond other mesh chairs by delivering comfort in an entirely new way. Hallelujah a chair that doesnt squeak!! Third times the charm (my 3rd home office chair in 16 months). As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This chair IS high-quality. Its good looking far a work chair, super comfortable and supportive, well built and a no brainer to assemble very quickly. I finally found my chair!. Bb. NC. Sun Sep 13 2026

This Gesture chair was designed by Steelcase to be confident, intentional, and highly evolved with simple sophistication. The design was meant to inspire confidence that it would deliver a great experience time and time again. The key design driver was to fundamentally rethink the chair based on the movement of the human body and the way we work today. Gesture won the Neocon Gold Award in 2013.

Very happy with the colors I chose. Quality of material is high. It arrived pre-assembled in a giant box. It was well wrapped and there's not a nick or scratch on the chair. Since working from home I burnt through a $400 chair in 2.5 years. I decided to make the investment in a higher quality chair. So far when I sit in it my sciatica goes away and my body is just immediately comfortable. I'm only 5'3" and my feet can actually firmly be on the ground. Very happy that I went with the Gesture. It adjusts to fit my height and the arm rests come in closer. I think this chair would still be great for average height people, but it's adjustable so that it works for smaller builds too.. Sg. USA. Designed for big and tall users, this executive office chair combines a breathable high-resilience mesh back with a thick PU leather seat for long-lasting comfort. The dynamic lumbar support, adjustable headrest, and 3D flip-up armrests help create a more ergonomic sitting experience for home offices, computer desks, study rooms, and executive workspaces.

Very high quality, easy to put together, and strong. I am a 6' 3", 310 lb man, and this chair is big even for me. Definitely recommend. I also purchased for the head support, and it is the prefect height for my head. The headrest is not height-adjustable, which is the only downside I see. The wheels roll smooth. The armrests lowest level is a tad high, but that doesn't bother me or my posture.. Josh. Minneapolis, MN. Sat Apr 18 2026

Purchased two. A great looking chair with a significant amount of tilt. Fairly firm, but the fixed posture is good. Ended up swapping to roller blade wheels and am pleased with the result. The banding on the plywood or faux plywood back looks a bit cheap, but unless someone truly knows furniture they will not notice. A single hole in the base was not tapped. No big deal if you have a tap/die set, but if you do not you might be frustrated. Priced right and would buy again.. Frank. Illinois. Thu Oct 01 2026

Love this chair. Looks like high quality, very comfortable and assembled easily. Highly recommend.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 02 2026

On the path to pursuing an outstanding office experience, this luxurious office chair will be your ideal choice and redefine your comfort at work.

This chair is nice real leather and seems to be a good quality, not likely to start peeling quickly. The seat is nice and wide and constructed well. It isn't the most cushioned on the bottom, but good enough for this style of chair. The bolts that screwed in the sides of the cushions for the back were somewhat temperamental to get in the right angle since they were counter sunk in the hole, especially considering the hole in the leather was too small.. Brittany. Wooster, OH. Fri Dec 27 2024
