The outer covering of the pillow feels cool to the touch at first but gets warm after using it for a little while. The material itself causes a pillowcase to slide and move around . I find that my original coop adjustable pillow is more comfortable because the pillow case stays in place and the outer covering is more comfortable. I do not see any difference in the level of cooling.. I am disappointed in the product. I am an atheltic/active preson but was having neck issues. I went to the Wayfair store and tested this pillow based on the sales persons suggestions on my needs, shoulder size and side sleeping.
