We recently had new floors installed and are slowly replacing all of our living room furniture. This is the first piece we purchased, and I assembled it by myself. The small screwdriver included with it eventually gave me blisters, so I switched to one we already owned. Attaching the top piece was a little tricky at first, but once I realized it was easier to lie on my back underneath the table to insert the screws, the rest was easy. It’s a solid table and looks great. I work from home so it’s been nice to extend the top of the table and use it as a desk while catching up on TV shows. Good quality build. Excellent for the price. Was a bit smaller than what i expected. Quick shipping, and good packaging. Assembly - Easy, about to 1-2 hours depending on your experience. Most tricky part of assembly was screwing in the lift-top mechanism into the table sides and top, due to lack of space and odd position for screwing in. This is a very nice-looking table. I like the dark color of the wood, I like the shelf underneath, and I like the rounded edges. The wood top is very smooth, too. Unfortunately, there is a little scratch right on the top that is noticeable. This didnt take more than about twenty minutes to put together. If there is something I would change, there are screws right on the legs where the lower shelf attaches. Those screws dont have any covers, and they are in spots on the legs that are clearly visible, so I just stare at flaws. And, this is just an aside I really dont understand why companies put labeling stickers in places where they could be problematic if they dont come off easily. There was a labeling sticker right on the top of this table. It did come off easily and didnt happen to cause a problem, but it was needlessly placed on the wrong side.. Lisa Burdick. Ilion, NY.
