Other than the holes for the handles being drilled in the wrong place, it’s not too bad. They were drilled upside down so that they are on the lower half of the drawer front. Hopefully it won’t affect the drawer in any way other than aesthetically.. Margaret. Bonita Springs, FL. Sun Oct 04 2026

The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. Can you send us a new one? I examined the box prior to opening and saw no sign of the dent or I would have refused shipment. Please advise.. Alison. Nantucket, MA. Fri Apr 17 2026

Love!!! We needed to upgrade from two small file cabinets and this is exactly what we wanted. Theres plenty of room for a zillion files and it’s not too heavy. We have it on felt pads so if we need to slide it we can. Putting it together is a 1-2 person job. The parts feel a little flimsy separately but once put together seem sturdy.. Anonymous. Set it next to a natural wood desk in your crafting corner to complement its finish, then open up its three drawers to stow away colored pencils, construction paper, and more as you work on your latest scrapbook. Featuring a 30% recycled metal design, this cabinet adds an eco-friendly touch to your ensemble, while a four-point caster base lets you move it from room to room with ease. Roll it out of the office and into the spare room to stow away keepsakes and important documents, then lock the top two drawers for added security in your space.

This cabinet will meet my needs and for the price, it's not terrible. Just know these are not going to hold files - none of the drawers are file sized - but will hold lots of desk accessories and things. The construction is a thin gauge steel that flexes easily. The cabinet has a 200 lb limit but at that level, you will see some bending. Use them for light work and they'll be fine.. Capt Schooner. MA. Wed May 20 2026

This lateral filing cabinet, made for both home and office use, keeps your important legal and letter-sized documents organized and secure. It features smooth ball-bearing drawer glides for easy access and is environmentally friendly with its GREENGUARD Gold certification.

Love this filing cabinet!!!! Well made, pretty lightweight which was good, it came well packaged, not a scratch or a ding. The driver, a lovely young man, deserves a raise. We had a dolly to wheel this draft horse of a file cabinet out of his truck and into our garage. I'm 80 years old and my husband of 53 years is 82 and I did the heavy lifting and the two guys made it easy to get this wonderful piece of office equipment into the garage just before it rained! Good timing. Your driver is remarkable young man. Give him a raise. He deserves it. A lovely person who is kind and we had some good laughs out in the driveway.. Eileen. Bassett, VA. Sat Jun 27 2026

Good Cabinet, but Plan on a Long Assembly. Overall, I’m happy with this file cabinet. Once assembled, it has a clean, modern look and provides plenty of storage without taking up a huge amount of floor space. The black finish looks nice and makes it suitable for either a home office or workspace. The biggest thing to know is that assembly is definitely time-consuming. It took about three hours to put together. The good news is that the instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are simply a lot of pieces and steps, so I would recommend setting aside a good chunk of time rather than expecting this to be a quick project. As far as quality, I wouldn’t consider this an extremely heavy-duty commercial-grade filing cabinet. The materials are a little lighter than I expected, but once everything was assembled, it felt sturdy enough for everyday home or office use. The drawers operate well, and I’m confident it will hold up just fine with normal use. I especially like the tall, narrow design because it gives you a lot of filing space without taking up much room. It also looks much nicer than a typical bulky metal filing cabinet. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase. If you don’t mind spending a few hours assembling it and aren’t expecting industrial-level construction, it’s a good-looking, functional cabinet that should serve its purpose well.
