This is a great bed. For the price we are really happy with it! We’re using it for our grandchildren. However, one thing you do need to know is a standard mattress doesn’t fit correctly. There’s about 3 to 4 inches on the top and the bottom that if a child was standing on the bed, their foot can go right down through. We are going to remedy it with some foam and some wood support. However, just beware of this issue. Other than that and the fact that the frame is too big for a standard twin mattress and too small for a twin XL. It’s a really great sturdy bed.. Patricia. Super cute, my toddler was so excited. Took about 2.5 hours to build. Downside is the casters had to be left off or the drawers are too high to properly close all the way. Wish the support beams came with a few additional pieces so my husband and I felt more secure when laying in it with him to put him to sleep but overall sturdy enough. We also had to buy corner cushions for the pieces by the stairs because they are pretty sharp and my toddler slipped on the stairs and got a small cut by his eye when he hit the rails by the steps..
