A few things to note: 1) I ordered "brown" but it really reads "gray"; however, the color is pretty neutral so it goes with anything; add some pillows and it looks great; 2) the back is FIRM so you really sit upright on it; this isn't something you sink into; 3) it's really comfortable to lay down on, which is what I wanted. I like this sofa a lot. It’s sturdy and the faux leather feels good. I like the deep seats too. The only thing I wish was different was the back. I wish it was higher and thicker to provide more backshoulder support. Also, bc of the black cover on the back, it is not an option to “float” this sofa.
