Love my dining table it exceeded my expectations. Although the description indicates saddle brown, I ordered and received the black with natural top. Table and chairs are very sturdy. I opted for the white glove delivery and the guys were on time and careful. The set is small, so make sure to review the specs before buying. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. I am very happy with this set. It took an evening to put together (3 hrs) by myself. I am a 69 yr old lady. The only thing I couldn't do by myself was flip the table upright. This is a very heavy, solid wood set. The finish is darker than the picture, which I am glad. Much more dark cherry/ mahogany color than the orangey tone on the website. I thought the chair seats were black but the seat part is a very deep brown. Looks black from afar. The assembly was easy and the directions were clear. I am beyond happy with this dining room table and chairs! The description says rubberized wood, not sure what that means, but it looks like regular painted wood. It arrived in four boxes, none of which weighed more than 40 pounds. The instructions were straightforward and tools were included. I struggled with tightening the bolts on the pedestal so I used my own wrench. The chairs do not wobble, they are secure on the floor. This set is good quality for DIY furniture. The linen white color matches my soft, white cabinetry well. One caution is making sure you are using the correct bolt size (face palm). It took me 2-3 hours to assemble and I was tired by the last chair assembly so I had to undo the seat and legs because I used the wrong bolts.
