The assembly was challenging for this dresser. I also bought the 7 drawer dresser to match and it was much easier to assemble than this one. The frame of the side cabinet is made of birch wood, which is stable and not easy to crack. The wood is dense, hard and strong, and the surface of birch wood has excellent luster. Wear resistance, not easy to crack deformation.
