These hand blown lamps are stunning. I bought 2 to flank my living room sofa. The clear glass with swirls of blue and teal perfectly complement my peacock blue sofa. The packaging was unbelievably secure - nothing was going to damage them in transit. Very easy to assemble, just put the harp and shade in place and screw on the finial. I believe that the base is made of acrylic, and is very smooth and clear. I’d love to put a grippy pad beneath it for extra protection from my cats, but you can see straight through it, so I’ll have to find something pretty to use. *Important note - in the official product photos, (to me) it looks like there is a strange protrusion coming out of the glass, which made me hesitant to order, but is not there in person.
