I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. Also because the particle board in the back was a bit warped it was difficult to get the top to line up when assembling the final bolts. It’s definitely a two person job. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. If it’s delivered to your home when you are not there you’ll need a dolly to get it inside. It’s extremely heavy when all packaged together. It took 43 minutes to assemble. Its lightweight but sturdy. It looks like solid wood and very good quality. I appreciate how they packaged the hardware needed. You will need a screwdriver. The only downside for me was the last step of screwing in part number 8 would be easier if you apply it before putting on the top shelf. Pros=For that price I was expecting better from the company, from the description and the pictures. It does not extract a 'wow' from my guests but it does not get chided either - it adds a conservative finish decor to your place - and we sought that. Cons =Major broken pieces and major cracks - see photos. I used gorilla glue to glue the broken pieces and cracks. Bottom line = if you want a clean and conservative finish, go for it - but watch out for broken parts - manufacturer must lower price for the end consumer - for their QC lapse and charge back the shipper for mishaps.. We were looking for bigger TV but needed new place to put it. Bought this because tall so I can see TV from 18’ away. Also flat on sides so we could buy thin bookcases for either side of it. We were very pleased with the TV stand. The first one we bought was not solid wood and incurred quite a bit of damage in shipment. Sent pictures to Wayfair and they immediately gave me credit towards next purchase and told me to discard or donate damaged piece. I donated it. The one i just bought in it place was more expensive, but was solid wood, delivered in perfect condition, well made and looks great in our master bedroom. Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf. We are very happy with our tv stand. It came well packed, no damages and well made. It was easy to assemble, fewer pieces than some other items received from Wayfair.
