I'm a 67 yr. old petite woman and I just finished assembling this cabinet by myself, using only a screwdriver and it took me about 3 hours. It's very well made, instructions are easy to follow, but I did see the complaints about the difficulty with the doors, but I did not have a problem with the doors. Be aware that if your TV is 55" like in the photo, once you position it on the cabinet the TV legs will hang off either the front or back of the cabinet. My son and I put this TV stand together fairly easily. It took 35 minutes and required no tools except for a Phillips head screwdriver for the anti-tip restraint. It was a little tricky getting the sides attached, but one has only to slide up from the wide part to the narrow part to lock the sides into place at the top and bottom. It was a little tricky keeping the sides open for those portions where we needed them open to connect the sections. The top is heavy and it is overall quite sturdy. The wood has a pleasant smell and the doors are a nice touch. The black wood grain is elegant and the finish is shiny. Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf. Love how it looks in my parlor corner! It came very well packaged but the back piece of plywood with the cord hole had been bashed in and broken.
