I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. This Range is good is absolutely stunning right out of the box, and promises to be even more attractive and functional after I install it. I’m in a holding pattern right at the moment because I have to replace the corner cabinet due to a manufacturing defect. I hope to update this review with additional pictures once completed. The stainless steel is very solid and tends to resist finger marks, unlike lower grade goods that I’ve looked at in appliance stores. This range hood is amazing. Although it comes with a remote, I love the sensor feature the most— all you have to do is wave. It’s absolutely convenient when your hands are wet or dirty and you need to quickly turn on the vent or speed it up or turn it off. I love that it has four lights, I can finally see what I’m cooking in the evening. The package was carefully packed in fitted foam boxes and a shrink wrap. This project took me days because I had to cut the hole for the vent and cut the stainless steel hood to size. It is pretty heavy so you’ll definitely need a partner to help lift it.
