It is heavy and looks solid. I added gold corner protectors to finish the look. It would have been perfect if it comes with a USB port. I do love this table. I got it open box and there was a small defect but not very noticeable, in my option it gives it more personality for the distressed look as that was the description. This table was needed in a dining area, where there is a large mirror above it. It fits the space and looks good. (We got the distressed white with a darker wood top.) Two negatives - the distressing is not very good; it looks like smearing. And the top is not exactly what we expected - It has a design of sorts.
