I find this portafilter to be particularly useful for testing extractions on La Specialista machines. I have the touch model, and it works perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cuisinart's Espresso Bar Espresso Machine is a wonderful addition to the kitchen. We drink coffee in the morning and throughout the day. I enjoy lattes and my husband favors straight espresso (quads) - both easy to make. This machine is simple to use, and more importantly, easy to clean. I found the machine's volume reasonable. I have a silicone mat between the counter and the machine. I love the cup warmer feature on top. I received this product compliments of Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review. I have not had an expresso bar like this before; I've been using a machine with small capsules. This espresso machine from Cuisinart feels well made and solid. I expect it will last and work well for many years. I am looking forward to trying some of the recipes in the user's manual. They sound delicious!. Mamabear888. USA. Thu Mar 20 2025

I love to put Juras into my client spaces and I love them myself. So easy to use, and they make great coffee for far less than coffee shops. They may seem expensive at first, but they pay for themselves in a year and you wont miss the neighborhood coffee shop.. Sandra. US. Sun May 31 2026

It’s perfect for my coffee bar.. Anonymous. Sat Feb 07 2026

The 4-cup espresso and cappuccino machine uses a steam/boiler to quickly heat water until steam is produced. The steam creates pressure to force the water into the filter holder and through the coffee grounds to brew the espresso directly into the glass carafe. When the espresso has reached the bottom line marking on the glass carafe, you can stop the brewing and switch to frothing milk. When you finish frothing, turn the selector switch back to the coffee brewing position. The powerful steam/boiler reduces warm-up time to less than 2 minutes, producing 2 to 4 cappuccinos or lattes in less than 5 minutes.

The last cappuccino espresso I bought from Wayfair was much sturdier. It had some stainless steel in but the new one is smaller and almost all plastic. However, after just 2 uses, it seems to work ok so far.. Adele. Washington, PA. Fri May 29 2026
